About Cleo Ioannou
Cleo works on property and immigration matters. On a property file that means the sale contract, the leases, the agreements between contractor and subcontractor, and checking that the transaction meets the rules that apply to it.
Much of the work happens at the counter: the Department of Lands and Surveys, the Tax Department, the town planning and building departments, and the local authorities. She knows how those offices run and what each one needs to see before it will move.
She was admitted to the Cyprus Bar in 2021. Her earlier work was in litigation, where she interviewed clients and drafted everything from briefs to opinions, before her practice moved to property.
