About Cleo Ioannou
Cleo completed her studies for the LLB Bachelor of Laws at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, famous for its long and established tradition for learning and excellence. The law school at Aristotle University is among the oldest and most prestigious in Greece.
During training, Cleo became familiar with all aspects of litigation and gained skills in gathering evidence, interviewing clients, and conferring with colleagues. She also developed and expanded her skills in writing legal documents, from briefs to opinions.
As a professional, Cleo has acquired extensive experience from the start. She has successfully represented clients in both civil and criminal courts, demonstrating her strong advocacy skills. Her work also involved drafting legal documents like wills, leases, and contracts and advising clients on the possibility of pursuing a successful action.
Subsequently, Cleo’s career commitments took her to property and real estate law. While managing and resolving property law cases and legal matters, she worked on various projects, liaising with clients and real estate agents to facilitate smooth collaboration and productive transactions. She worked on compliance with relevant laws and regulations while also drafting real estate documents like contracts, leases, and contractor-subcontractor agreements.
Further, she represented clients in public departments like the Department of Lands and Surveys, the Tax Department, the Town and Building Department and other local, municipal and nation-wide authorities. This way, she gained sharp insight into the workings of bureaucracy and the governmental real estate infrastructure, which is essential for functioning efficiently in the public and private aspects of property law practice.
Cleo is committed to continuous growth, both personally and professionally. Her calm, resolute, and knowledgeable approach to her career and life serves as an inspiration to those around her.
